Artist's Comments
This is an image used as part of a project to illustrate my creative partner's short stories about an SAS officer on the run and living "off the grid". The brief for this image was to produce a modernized image of 'The Hermit" Tarot card, replacing the traditional stick and lantern with a gun and torch. I decided to produce 3 final designs in different styles. This design is has been drawn in a Frank Miller's Sin City style using Photoshop and has more interaction with the background/foreground than SAS Hermit v2.0.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
